Celebrate the 'Rorate Caeli' Mass with Us Dec. 16 at 6 a.m.

The Rorate Caeli Mass is an ancient advent tradition held early in the morning, in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It begins in darkness, and as the sun rises and fills the church, we are to consider the light that entered the world at the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

The additional beauty is that since our parish will have the Forty Hours Devotion, the Mass will be in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament exposed, called coram sanctissimo, Latin for "Before the Most Holy, Face-to-Face..."
